MILLENNIUM PARK – CHICAGO

Millennium Park is a public park in downtown Chicago. The park, which is bounded by Michigan Avenue, Randolph Street, Columbus Drive and East Monroe Drive, features a variety of public art. The park covers a 24.5-acre section of northwestern Grant Park. The area was previously occupied by parkland, Illinois Central’s rail yards, and parking lots. Because the park sits atop a parking garage and commuter rail Millennium Station, it is considered the world’s largest rooftop garden.

KING ROAD TOWER

King Road Tower is a 34-story office tower that is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. 21 floors on the north and south facades and 16 floors on the west façade have been equipped with LED screens. The LED screens cover an area of 32,000 square feet and contain more than 5 million LEDs. It took more than 6 months to produce the media façade, occupying a team of around twenty engineers and craftsmen for three months during the project design phase and then 6 months for installation and testing. The King Road Tower Media Façade is the largest media façade in the world installed on an inhabited building.
