Jai Alai (aka pelota) is known as the most lethal ball
in sports. It is three-quarters the size of a baseball and harder than a golf
ball. The best in the sport can toss the pelota at speeds greater than 188
miles per hour.
At the Speed Challenge Contest semifinals at Dania Jai
Alai on November 24, 2017, Ibon Aldazabal broke the old record of 188 miles
per hour with a throw of 190 miles per hour.
