In 2018, Jeff Knox, playing in his 8th
straight Masters, was the only player to have a birdie on hole number 11, and
it didn’t count.
Knox, who was playing with Paul Casey also picked up
his tap-in putt on number 2, and did not putt out on number 18.
In 2014, Knox was paired with Rory McIlroy and beat him
70-71. Since that round, Knox has always picked up on at least one green, so
he doesn’t have a true score.
Yesterday, Jeff Knox was paired with Eddie Pepperell,
and Pepperell estimated that Knox shot a 2-over 74.
So, who is Jeff Knox and why is he playing the Masters,
but not competitively? Please see “comments” for the answers to those
questions.
