THE CRYSTAL

Raffles City Chongqing, China consists of eight skyscrapers at the tip of the peninsula where the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers meet.

The Crystal is an enclosed 984-foot long horizontal skyway that sits atop four of the six southern towers. Each of the four towers rises to a height of 820 feet. The Crystal itself is 106-feet wide and 87-feet high. Within the Crystal, there will be two swimming pools, restaurants, a gallery, gardens with trees and a viewing site.

The Crystal will set a record for being the highest in the world linking the highest number of towers. *

*There are references on the internet to the Crystal being the highest skybridge in the world. While the Crystal can be correctly identified as a skybridge, it is not the highest skybridge in the world. That record is held by the Skybridge that is atop the Kingdom Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom Centre skybridge is at a height of 984 feet.
