THERE ARE ONLY TWO DOUBLE LANDLOCKED COUNTRIES

Many countries are landlocked, but only two countries in the world are double landlocked, meaning they are trapped entirely by countries that are themselves landlocked. Liechtenstein in Central Europe is surrounded by Switzerland and Austria, which are both landlocked countries. Uzbekistan in Central Asia is surrounded by Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, all landlocked countries.
