The Magdeburg Water Bridge is a navigable aqueduct in central Germany. With a length of 3,012 feet, the Magdeburg Water Bridge is the longest navigable aqueduct in the world. It has a width of 112 feet, a depth of 14 feet and a length of 2,264 feet over land. The water bridge opened in 2003. It spans the Elbe River and connects the Elbe-Havel Canal to the Mittelland Canal. |
