MATT HARRISON - PITCHER FOR TEXAS RANGERS AND PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES

The Philadelphia Phillies paid pitcher Matt Harrison $41 million dollars and he never threw one pitch for them.

On July 31, 2015, the Texas Rangers traded Harrison to the Phillies in as part of a multi-player deal. At the time of the trade, Harrison was on the 15-day disabled list due to lower back inflammation. On September 15, the Phillies transferred Harrison from the 15-day deactivated list to the 60-day disabled list. Harrison remained on the disabled list until November 15, 2016 when he was released by the Phillies.
