Irene Triplett is the mentally disabled daughter of a civil war veteran. Irene is still alive* and receiving a monthly payment of $73.13 from the Veterans Administration.

Mose married Elida Hall in 1930. Elida was nearly 60 years younger than Mose and suffered from a mental disability.

Irene Triplett was born January 30, 1930 in Wilkes County, North Carolina, and also suffered from a mental disability.

Mose Triplett died in 1938, when Irene was 8 years old.

As both Irene and her mother, Elida, were disabled, they were entitled to receive benefits after the death of Mose.

Elida died in 1967.

Life has not been good for Irene. She has been dependent on the state her whole life and currently resides in a nursing home in Wilkesboro, North Carolina*.
